QNX OS 8.0.2 on Amazon Web Services Product Update Release Notes

The QNX OS 8.0.2 on Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a reference image of the QNX OS 8.0.2 as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) on AWS.

Target cloud service

You must access AWS at https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/.

Development host OSs

You must install the QNX SDP 8.0.2 on a development host with one of the following 64-bit operating systems:
  • Microsoft Windows 11, or Windows 10
  • Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 LTS, Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 LTS, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9

What's in this update

The QNX OS 8.0.2 on AWS contains the QNX OS 8.0.2 kernel image for AWS. The image supports up to 64 cores and runs on the following AWS instances types:
  • c7g on Graviton 3, which supports ARM v8.4
  • c8g on Graviton 4, which supports ARM v9

Known issues

The QNX OS 8.0.2 on AWS has no known AWS-specific issues.
