endspent()

Close the shadow password database file

Synopsis:

#include <sys/types.h>
#include <shadow.h>

void endspent( void );

Library:

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The endspent() function closes the shadow password database file, so all password access routines behave as if setspent() had never been called.

Returns:

Zero.
